  26. Deja vu.  Look at your A3000 motherboard and see if it has terminator 
  27. SIPs.  If so, remove them, because they are now in the middle of the SCSI 
  28. bus.  If I've got it right, the SCSI bus would (and should) then look like 
  29. this:

  31. Quantum(terminated)-->A3000(unterminated)-->Syquest(terminated[active])

  33. You should probably also check for the A3000 supplying termpower to the 
  34. external DB25 connector.  With the A3000 on, *carefully* check pin 25 of 
  35. the DB25 for +5V.  Without this, external devices are not going to work 
  36. unless they can supply their own termpower.
